Reduce the space needed for a door to swing into the room.

Concealed Sliding Wooden Doors
In-wall sliding movement that saves door-swing space and simplifies the room layout.
Supply and installation begin with a site survey and written specifications tailored to your project.
01 / Understand the System
Details to consider before you choose.
A concealed sliding door runs on hardware within a purpose-built wall pocket, allowing the leaf to disappear partly or fully when opened, depending on the design. The pocket frame, track, door leaf, finishes and maintenance access must be coordinated.
System selection depends on the door-leaf weight and dimensions and the wall thickness. Do not form a pocket in an existing wall before checking its structural role and any services within it. Soft closing, locking and insulation are features of the chosen system, not automatic inclusions.
Benefits and Applications
Connect or separate two spaces with sideways movement.
Coordinate the door leaf and finish with the interior design.
Single- or double-leaf options where the wall and system permit.
02 / Designs and Applications
Different settings. Considered solutions.
Typical installation examples to illustrate the possibilities. Select an image to enlarge it, then discuss the right solution for your site dimensions with us.
Single leaf within the wall
The pocket requires suitable side space. Confirm the handle position and travel limits.
Two meeting leaves
Requires two pockets and accurate alignment where the leaves meet. Review synchronised movement and locking options supported by the system.
Room divider
Review movement direction, privacy requirements and the effect of gaps. A sliding door is not inherently an airtight acoustic barrier.
03 / From Preparation to Handover
Clear steps from the start.
Before Installation
- Identify the wall type. Do not alter structural elements without a specialist’s review.
- Coordinate the pocket with wiring, plumbing and wall-mounted furniture.
- Approve floor levels and finish thicknesses before installing the system.
- Select the door leaf and hardware within the weight and hardware limits.
At Handover
- Test movement, stopping and any lock without rubbing.
- Check alignment, clearances and the bottom guide.
- Explain maintenance access and fixing restrictions in the pocket-wall area.
Dimensions, materials, models, performance limits, installation scope, timeframe, warranty and maintenance terms are defined in the approved quotation. This guide is general guidance and does not replace the installed product’s documentation or a technical site survey.
04 / After Installation
Use it correctly. Care for it simply.
Every Day
Handling and Operation
- Use the handle without pulling sharply or striking the end stop.
- Keep fingers away from pocket edges and where leaves meet.
- Do not hang weights from the leaf or force it past an obstruction.
As Needed
How to Clean
- Wipe the wood with a soft, slightly damp cloth suitable for its finish, then dry.
- Remove dust from the bottom guide and accessible parts without dismantling them.
- Clean handles with a product compatible with their metal and finish.
Protect the System
What to Avoid
- Do not soak the wood or use steam or solvents.
- Do not drill or drive screws into the pocket wall without knowing its construction details.
- Do not remove hangers or adjust rollers while the leaf is suspended.
Do Not Ignore These Signs
When to Request Maintenance
- Ground contact, recurring sticking or noise from the track.
- A loose handle, a closing fault or a displaced guide.
- Swollen wood, changed alignment or damaged hardware.
Agree inspection and cleaning intervals with the technician based on the manufacturer’s instructions, usage, dust and humidity. Electrical work, dismantling loaded components and work at height require a qualified professional. Do not attempt these repairs yourself.
05 / Frequently Asked Questions
Before you decide.
Will it work in any existing wall?
Not necessarily. First review the wall type and thickness, pocket space, services and structural role.
Does it completely block sound?
Do not assume so. Performance depends on a system supported by test data and appropriate sealing details, not simply on the leaf disappearing into the wall.
